Biography
Todd Schaefer is a no-party-affiliation candidate for Florida's 4th Congressional District and a retired U.S. Navy veteran. He also ran as a write-in in 2024. He says he is running against a two-party system that is not working for voters.[1][2]
Schaefer was born in Anderson, Indiana, and earned a high school diploma from Highland High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1998 to 2018 and, as of 2025, was retired.[2] In 2024 he ran as a write-in, no-party candidate against Aaron Bean and received 73 votes.[2] In his Ballotpedia survey he describes himself as retired Navy and says his policy interests include getting money out of politics, health care, and housing affordability.[2]
