Biography
Thomas Holbrook is the Libertarian Party nominee for Missouri's 4th District and secretary of the Missouri Libertarian Party.[1][2] A federal government contractor with a history degree who ran for Congress in 2012 and 2024, he says his experience with bureaucracy motivated his run and wants to focus on eliminating it.[2][3]
Holbrook was born March 9, 1983, at Williams Air Force Base in Arizona, according to his campaign website.[3] About a year later his father, an Air Force member, was assigned to Whiteman Air Force Base, and the family moved to Missouri; Holbrook was raised near Leeton.[3] He graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in History in May 2011.[3][4]
Holbrook reports work experience in food service, retail, tax preparation and civilian contracting.[3] BallotReady lists him as a cashier at Walmart (2006-2016), a general clerk at PAE (2017-2022) and Brillient Corporation (2022-2024), and a document imaging specialist at Iron Mountain (2024-present).[4] KCUR describes him as a federal government contractor.[2]
Holbrook has not held public office.[2] KCUR reports that he ran for Congress in 2012 and 2024, and BallotReady lists him as a candidate for Missouri's 4th District in the 2024 primary and general elections as well as in 2026.[2][4]
