Mike Rogers is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates from District 32, in Anne Arundel County, and is seeking re-election in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1][2]A retired U.S. Army colonel, he has served in the House since January 2019 and chairs the Business Regulation Subcommittee of the Economic Matters Committee.[1]
Rogers was born in Detroit and, according to the General Assembly, served in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps from 1986 to 2015, retiring as a colonel.[1]Ballotpedia lists his career experience as military officer and small business owner, and says he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986.[2]He has served as a director of a homeowners' association, president of the Meade High School PTSA, and a football coach with the Severn Athletic Club.[1]
Rogers was first elected to the House of Delegates in 2018.[1]He sits on the Economic Matters Committee and its Business Regulation, Workers' Compensation, and Banking, Consumer Protection, and Commercial Law subcommittees, and has been House chair of the Maryland Veterans Caucus since 2024.[1]In a Ballotpedia survey, he listed education, the economy and community as his campaign's key messages and named veterans and military families as the policy area he is most passionate about.[3]
