Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins is a Democrat from Sitka who served ten years in the Alaska House of Representatives and was a member of a bipartisan House coalition.[1][2] His campaign focuses on school funding, fisheries and rebuilding the state ferry system, and he has said he would fill his cabinet one-third each with Democrats, independents and Republicans.[3]
Kreiss-Tomkins was born and raised in Sitka. He attended Yale University but dropped out to run for the Alaska House of Representatives.[2][3]
