Biography
Bruce Fine is an independent candidate and self-described former Republican who says he has worked as a farmer, marine mechanic, and journalist. He says he left the GOP because both parties 'abandoned everyday people' and is running on cost of living, local healthcare clinics and hospitals, education, and the national debt.[1][2]
Ballotpedia lists a high school diploma for Fine from North Miami Beach Senior High School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in 1997; his survey describes a B.S. from the University of Florida.[1][2] He describes himself as a farmer, marine mechanic, and journalist who has worked across trades and industries, from farming and fishing to mechanics and journalism, and says he is not a politician.[1] Fine says he left the Republican Party because both parties have abandoned everyday people, and he is running as an independent.[1]
