Biography
Wes Enos is the Republican candidate for Iowa State Senate District 23 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Democrat Anthony Thompson.[1] Ballotpedia lists him as having lost the June 2 Republican primary to incumbent Mike Bousselot, who is listed as a withdrawn or disqualified candidate for the general election.[1]
Ballotpedia says Enos was also a candidate in the 2010 Republican primary for Iowa State Senate, in which he and Michael Adams Jr. were defeated by Joe Pirillo.[1] In the 2026 primary, Bousselot received 64.9 percent of the vote to Enos's 34.8 percent.[1]
