Tracy Robins

RCandidate

On the ballot Nov 3, 2026: South Carolina House District 75

Biography

Tracy Robins is the Republican candidate for the South Carolina House of Representatives, District 75, in the November 3, 2026 general election, where incumbent Heather Bauer (D) and Joshua Parks (L) are also on the ballot.[1][2] In a Ballotpedia survey, she described herself as a retired South Carolina public school teacher and former coach whose main priority is changing the state education system.[3]

Tracy Robins was born in Bluffton, South Carolina, graduated from Beaufort High School and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina in 1996.[2] In a Ballotpedia survey, she said she is a retired South Carolina public school teacher and a former girls' track, softball and volleyball coach, and that she is married to Paul Robins, a small business owner in Columbia.[3] She said she decided to run because she believes many elected officials work for themselves, lobbyists, corporations or other special interests rather than for the people.[3]

Robins said in the survey that her main priority if elected is to transform the state education system, including changes to curriculum, how school board members are elected, testing, behavior management policies and administrator training, along with a push for trade-based high schools.[3] She also said she would work to cut the state budget, eliminate legislative earmarks, end the practice of adding provisos after the budget leaves the Ways and Means Committee, and eliminate the state income tax.[3] Robins listed Congressman Joe Wilson as an endorser to date.[3]
