Biography
Todd Davis is an independent candidate for the Maine House of Representatives, District 130, in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against incumbent Democrat Lynn Copeland.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he said he is a lifelong Saco resident who spent 27 years with a large insurance company and then more than six years with a Maine nonprofit providing residential care and support services.[2]
Davis earned a high school diploma from Thornton Academy and an associate degree from the University of Southern Maine in 1985, according to Ballotpedia, which lists him as retired.[1] In his survey responses, he said his insurance career began in finance as a senior budget and cost analyst and ended on the executive team responsible for operations across 14 states.[2]
In the same survey, Davis named affordability, education and funding social programs that serve children, seniors and people in need as his three key campaign messages.[2] He listed appropriations, health coverage, insurance and financial services, health and human services, energy, taxation and transportation among his policy interests, and wrote that compromise is both desirable and necessary for good policy.[2]
