Biography

Tim Rogers is the Republican nominee for Wisconsin's 4th District. A Milwaukee native who works delivering gift baskets and newspapers for two local businesses, he has run for this seat in every election since 2018. His campaign website lists universal school choice, criminal justice reform, clean water and lower taxes as priorities.[1][2][3]

Rogers was born in Milwaukee, where he still lives, graduated from North Division High School in 1978, and studied at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Milwaukee Area Technical College.[1][3] According to WUWM, which drew on his campaign website and earlier news coverage, he works delivering gift baskets and newspapers for two local businesses.[1][2] His campaign website says he volunteers in his community and sings in the All Saints Catholic Choir and the Milwaukee Public Schools Alumni Choir.[4]

Rogers was the Republican nominee against Gwen Moore in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024, losing each general election.[1][3] In 2024 he won the Republican primary over Purnima Nath, 71.2% to 28.4%, and received 22.4% in the general election; he said that year that he had made a commitment in 2018 to keep running "until we get it right."[1][3] He won the August 11, 2026 Republican primary, again over Nath.[2]
