Biography
Tim LeMaster is the Republican candidate for the Oregon House of Representatives, District 43, in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which he faces incumbent Democrat Tawna Sanchez.[1][2] In a 2022 Ballotpedia survey, he said he retired from the Marine Corps in Portland in 2013.[3]
LeMaster has run for this seat before, advancing from the Republican primary in 2022 and 2024 and losing to Sanchez in each general election.[1] In his 2022 Ballotpedia survey, he said seeing what he called the managed decline of public safety and the failure of schools led him to run.[3] He listed supporting police, school choice for parents, and repealing or fully rethinking Measure 110 as key messages, and said his greatest passion was holding government waste and excess to account.[3]
