Thomas Monks is the Democratic candidate for the North Carolina House of Representatives, District 73, in the November 3, 2026 general election; the March 3, 2026 Democratic primary was canceled.[1][2]
In a 2026 Ballotpedia survey, Monks named people-first government, community-based solutions, and transparency and accountability as his key messages.[3] He said he is personally passionate about education, economic opportunity, affordable healthcare, government transparency and protecting individual freedoms.[3]
