Biography
Taylor Cook is the Democratic candidate for the Alabama House of Representatives, District 43, in the November 3, 2026 general election, where he faces incumbent Republican Arnold Mooney.[1][2] In a Ballotpedia survey, Cook said he grew up in Geneva, Alabama, and works full-time while finishing a political science degree online through Colorado State University.[3]
Cook said in a Ballotpedia survey that he was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and attended Auburn before graduating from Highlands College in 2019.[3] He said he has worked in auto shops, warehouses, retail management, a law firm and general aviation, and that he lives in District 43 with his wife.[3]
