Hohe has been on the ballot several times as a Libertarian. He ran for Kansas's 3rd Congressional District in 2016, 2020 and 2022, losing the 2020 and 2022 general elections to Sharice Davids, and for Kansas House District 18 in 2024, a race won by Cindy Neighbor.[1][2] KCUR reports that, based on available records, he has not held public office.[2]
