Stephanie Lyn Leonard is the Democratic candidate for Florida House of Representatives District 6 in the November 3, 2026 general election, having advanced from the Democratic primary on August 18, 2026.[1][2] A nurse practitioner by profession according to Ballotpedia, she said in a Ballotpedia survey that she is a healthcare professional who has run a small corporation.[2][3]
Stephanie Lyn Leonard earned a bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 1985 and a graduate degree from Rollins College in 1992, and Ballotpedia lists her career experience as a healthcare professional.[2] In a 2026 Ballotpedia survey, she said she grew up in the county she is running in.[3]
Leonard said in the survey that she would work on the cost of living, including insurance, rent, electricity and healthcare costs, improve water quality in the bay and the gulf, and change donation systems so voters rather than corporations are served.[3]
