Biography
Sonya Hicks is the Democratic candidate for the Iowa House of Representatives, District 24, in the November 3, 2026 general election, where she faces incumbent Republican Sam Wengryn.[1][2] She defeated Paul Davis in the June 2, 2026 Democratic primary, and she ran for the same seat in 2024, losing to Wengryn with 32.9 percent of the vote.[2]
