Biography
Sheila Nelson represents Georgia House District 130; according to her official biography, she was first elected to the House in May 2016 for District 125 and served from January 2017 to January 2023, then was re-elected for District 130.[1]
She graduated from Lucy C. Laney High School in 1974 and from Atlanta Medical College in 1977 as a medical lab technician.[1] She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Augusta, Georgia, for 34 years, retiring in May 2013.[1]
