Biography
Shawn Stevens is the Republican candidate for Ohio House of Representatives District 61 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Democrat Vince McGrail.[1][2] He previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 68 in 2022.[2]
Shawn Stevens assumed office in the Ohio House on March 9, 2022, succeeding Rick Carfagna in District 68, and left office on December 31, 2022.[2] He ran for District 61 in the August 2, 2022 Republican primary and lost to Beth Lear, 58.1 percent to 41.9 percent.[2] Stevens advanced from the Republican primary for District 61 on May 5, 2026.[2]
