Sergio Esposito is the Republican and Conservative Party candidate for New York State Senate District 40 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against incumbent Democrat Peter Harckham.[1][2] His campaign website describes him as a longtime Yorktown resident and former Yorktown councilman.[3]
Esposito's campaign website says he has been a Yorktown resident for more than 30 years, grew a business there and served on the Yorktown town board.[3] It also describes him as a former president of the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce and lists lower taxes, safer communities, accountability in government and a business-friendly environment among his priorities.[3]
