Scott Meyers is the Republican nominee for California's 30th Congressional District. A California native and attorney, he describes himself as a small-business owner who has run his own law practice for about three decades and as not a career politician. He advanced from the June 2, 2026 primary.[1][2]

Meyers describes himself as a California native who has lived in the region for almost 50 years, raised by a schoolteacher and a minister, and who started working at age 14.[1] He graduated from Simi Valley High School and earned a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1988; his Ivoterguide profile also lists a bachelor's degree from UCLA.[1][2]

According to his Ivoterguide profile, Meyers worked as an attorney at the firm Gilbert, Kelly Crowley & Jennett from 1988 to 1994 and at the Auto Club of Southern California from 1995 to 1999.[2] He has run the Law Offices of Scott A. Meyers since 2000, according to the same profile, and he describes himself as self-employed for 26 years and a small business owner for three decades.[1][2] The profile lists this race as the only office he has sought and reports no political offices held.[2] He finished second in the June 2, 2026, top-two primary, advancing to the general election.[1]
