Biography
Sarah Fowler is a Republican state representative who has represented Ohio House District 99 since January 1, 2021, and is seeking re-election in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1] She chairs the House Education Committee.[1]
Fowler lives in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, and her career experience includes work as an independent consultant, a co-producer of an international YouTube channel, and the founder and owner of a business, according to Ballotpedia.[1] She was first elected to the Ohio State Board of Education (District 7) in a November 2012 special election, took office in January 2013, was re-elected in 2014, and served until 2020.[1]
In the 2025-2026 session Fowler serves on the Children and Human Services, Community Revitalization, House Education (as chair) and House Local Government committees.[1] She defeated Democrat Louis Murphy in the 2024 general election with 64.5 percent of the vote.[1]
