Saba Haider is the Democratic candidate for Illinois House of Representatives District 84 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Brian Scopa (R).[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, Haider described herself as a small business owner.[2]
Haider won the March 17, 2026 Democratic primary.[1] In a 2025 Ballotpedia survey, her campaign listed public safety, expanded mental health and youth services, women's rights and more affordable health care among its goals, along with support for local businesses and clean energy.[2] The survey also named mental health and addiction services, education and sustainability as policy areas she is passionate about.[2]
