Biography

Ryan Gardner is an independent candidate for the Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 95, in the November 3, 2026 general election, where he faces Republican incumbent Max Wolfley and Democrat Tegan Malone.[1] He lists government administration as his profession and said in a Ballotpedia survey that he is running to change how representation works and how legislation is written.[1][2]

Ryan Gardner graduated from Carl Albert High School and earned an associate degree from Rose State College in 2016.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he said his brother died in a car accident when Gardner was nine, and that the loss led him to conclude that all life and the time shared with loved ones are precious.[2]

In the survey, Gardner said the foundation of governance is ensuring that people can survive with dignity, which he said requires housing, food and water, health care, safety and utilities.[2] He said that once survival is assured the next goal is comfort, which he defined as having savings, free education, reliable infrastructure and protections from scams and unfair business practices.[2]
