Rodney King

Rodney King is an independent candidate who says he is a retired U.S. Navy submarine and nuclear weapons officer who now lives on a farm in Tennessee. He is running on protecting Social Security, healthcare, gun rights, lower taxes on working Americans, and requiring congressional approval for wars.[1]

Rodney King says he served in the U.S. Navy as a qualified submarine officer and nuclear weapons officer aboard the USS Nathan Hale (SSBN 623) from 1983 to 1986.[1] He then served on the Joint Strategic Target Planning Staff from 1986 to 1988 and finished his service as a reservist.[1] He says he and his wife live on a farm in Tennessee where they raised children and goats.[1]
