Biography
Robert Qua is the Republican candidate for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Strafford 9, in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1][2] An educator, Qua says he has worked in special education in public schools for his entire career.[2][3]
Robert Qua earned a high school diploma from Great Bridge High School, a bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 2007, and a graduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2014.[2] In a Ballotpedia survey, Qua said he grew up as a Navy child who moved every few years, that he and his wife chose New Hampshire more than a decade ago, and that he is running to represent Rochester's Sixth Ward.[3] He said he has served as a special educator in public schools for more than fifteen years and has been an educational leader for the last seven.[3]
Qua listed three key campaign messages in the survey: preserving what he called the New Hampshire Advantage of limited government and low taxes, passing "Defend the Guard" legislation, and expanding school choice.[3] He also named reducing government spending, protecting property rights including gun rights, and reducing regulatory barriers for businesses and workers as policy interests.[3]
