Biography
Robert Longwell-Grice is the Green Party candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly District 10 in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which he faces incumbent Darrin Madison Jr. (D).[1][2]
Longwell-Grice said in a Ballotpedia survey that he decided to run for office after the January 2025 presidential inauguration, reasoning that a campaign would let him engage others on issues he cares about.[3] He listed three campaign priorities in the survey: passing a Wisconsin container-deposit ("Bottle Bill") law, rescinding the state law that bars local governments from enacting bans or fees on single-use plastic bags and similar containers, and restoring full funding to the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program.[3]
