Biography
Robert LeVertis Bell is the Democratic candidate for Kentucky House of Representatives District 43 in the November 3, 2026 general election, facing write-in Republican Lisa Holliday Harris.[1][2] He won the May 19 Democratic primary with 54.6% of the vote over Joi McAtee.[2]
Bell defeated Joi McAtee, 2,938 votes to 2,447, in the 2026 Democratic primary for an open seat.[2] Ballotpedia lists his endorsements as including U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders and the Democratic Socialists of America.[2]
