Biography
Rick Walker is the Democratic candidate for Ohio House of Representatives District 57 in the November 3, 2026 general election, alongside Republican Jesse Styles and independent Belinda Grassi.[1][2] He has run for the Ohio House several times before, most recently in 2024.[2]
Rick Walker was the Democratic candidate for Ohio House District 61 in 2014, 2016 and 2018.[2] Incumbent Ron Young defeated him in 2014 and 2016, and Jamie Callender defeated him in 2018.[2] In 2024 Walker ran in District 57, where incumbent Jamie Callender defeated him, 62.6 percent to 37.4 percent.[2]
In a 2018 Ballotpedia survey, Walker listed his top three priorities as fair funding for public schools, fair funding for local municipalities and finding solutions for the heroin epidemic.[3] Walker advanced from the Democratic primary for District 57 on May 5, 2026.[2]
