Biography
Ralph Carter is the Republican candidate for the North Carolina House of Representatives, District 48, in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which he faces incumbent Garland Pierce (D).[1][2] He won the March 3, 2026 Republican primary over Kirk Lowery and was the Republican nominee for the seat in 2024.[2]
Carter first sought the District 48 seat in 2024, winning the March 5, 2024 Republican primary over Melissa Swarbrick and James Diaz.[2] He then lost the 2024 general election to incumbent Garland Pierce.[2]
