Rahim Asani is the Democratic candidate for Georgia House of Representatives District 108 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Republican Elvia Davila.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he described himself as an immigrant who came to America seeking opportunity and stability for his family.[2]
Asani advanced from the Democratic primary on May 19, 2026.[1] In the survey, he listed affordability and housing costs, the contributions of immigrant communities, and healthcare among his key messages, saying he supports expanding Medicaid in Georgia, lowering prescription costs and strengthening local hospitals.[2] He named economics, the environment, healthcare and public safety as the policy areas he is most passionate about.[2]
