Priscilla Ghaznavi

Priscilla Ghaznavi is an independent candidate running on the Our Future Party line in NY-7. According to her campaign website, she is a designer who has worked for seven publicly traded companies and is a former president of her homeowners association. She campaigns on housing affordability and homeownership, expanded mental-health care, and property-tax relief tied to income rather than market value.[1][2]

According to her campaign website, Ghaznavi was born in Washington, D.C., to immigrant parents from Iran and Bolivia, and has lived in New York City for more than three decades, in Chelsea, Greenpoint, and Williamsburg.[1] The site says she holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing with a concentration in International Trade, plus additional qualifications in design, merchandising, and advanced studies in Milan, and that she was elected President of New York State DECA during college.[1] Ballotpedia lists associate and bachelor's degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology.[3] She describes a career as a designer spanning seven publicly traded companies in business and creative leadership roles.[1]

Ghaznavi served as president of her homeowners association, where her campaign says she stabilized its finances during the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] She earned a fourth degree, in Entrepreneurship, in May 2026, according to her campaign website, which also says she is fluent in English and Spanish ("Castellano").[1]
