Phadra Carson Foster is the Democratic candidate for Alabama State Senate District 25 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against incumbent Republican Will Barfoot.[1][2]
Phadra Carson Foster first ran in the May 19, 2026 Democratic primary for District 25, where she received 24.0% of the vote behind incumbent Kirk Hatcher.[1] The governor voided those primary results on May 29, 2026, after a federal court stayed an injunction on the 2021 state map, and a special primary was scheduled for August 11, 2026.[1] Foster advanced from the canceled August Democratic primary to the general election.[1]
