Biography
Owen Lang is the Republican candidate for the Montana House of Representatives, District 66, in the November 3, 2026 general election against incumbent Eric Matthews (D).[1][2] He is a construction professional and U.S. Army National Guard veteran.[2]
Owen Lang served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1992 to 2001, according to Ballotpedia, and earned a high school diploma from Bozeman High School.[2] His career experience includes working in construction.[2]
Lang was the Republican nominee for Montana House of Representatives District 62 in 2024, when Josh Seckinger (D) defeated him, 51.1 percent to 48.9 percent.[2] He advanced from the Republican primary for District 66 on June 2, 2026.[2]
