Nick Sheedy is the Libertarian Party nominee for Montana's open 1st Congressional District seat. He received 1,202 votes, 100% of the Libertarian ballot, in the June 2 primary. Little public biographical information about him was found.[1]
Sheedy became the Libertarian nominee for Montana's 1st Congressional District in the June 2, 2026 primary, in which he was the only candidate on the Libertarian ballot, according to results reported by the Montana secretary of state.[1] In a March 2026 Montana Free Press candidate questionnaire, he said he would support strengthening the War Powers Resolution, ending the Federal Reserve, and federal legislation limiting campaign contributions to people eligible to vote.[1]
