Biography
Nathan Weise is the Libertarian Party nominee for Ohio's 1st Congressional District, a software engineer and University of Cincinnati graduate who has held roles in the Ohio and Hamilton County Libertarian parties. He describes his campaign as focused on affordability, ending foreign wars and immigration reform.[1]
Weise earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2013, where he says his interest in politics began, and he joined the Libertarian Party in 2012.[1] He says he later earned a Master of Public Administration degree, and Ballotpedia lists a graduate degree from Grand Canyon University in 2019.[1] He works as a software engineer.[1]
According to his Ballotpedia survey, Weise has served as communications director for the Ohio Libertarian Party, represented Ohio at the Libertarian National Convention, and chairs the Hamilton County Libertarian Party.[1]
