On the ballot Nov 3, 2026: Wisconsin Assembly District 13

Biography

Mike Morgan is the Republican candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly District 13, an open seat, in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which he faces Democrat Amy Zimmerman.[1][2] A consultant, he described his campaign in a Ballotpedia survey as an "independent and common voice" focused on affordability, accountability and accessibility.[1][3]

Morgan graduated from Whitefish Bay High School and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985, and Ballotpedia lists his career experience as working as a consultant.[1] In the survey, he said affordability means reducing tax burdens while maintaining necessary services and public safety, accountability means audits and reviews of how well state government operates, and accessibility means keeping citizens better informed.[3] He listed education at all levels (especially the trades), more efficient and modern public transportation, and holding criminals accountable while modernizing the justice system as his areas of policy interest.[3]
