Michele Magadance Skinner is the Republican candidate for Wisconsin State Senate District 31 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against incumbent Democrat Jeff Smith.[1][2] A former journalist and recruitment business owner, she was elected to the Eau Claire County Board in 2024.[1]
Michele Magadance Skinner's career experience includes working in journalism at TV-13 in Wisconsin, as well as in Georgia and Minnesota.[1] She also owned a recruitment business in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.[1]
Skinner was elected to the Eau Claire County Board in 2024.[1] That year she was also the Republican nominee for Wisconsin State Assembly District 91 and lost the general election to incumbent Democrat Jodi Emerson.[1] She advanced from the Republican primary for Wisconsin State Senate District 31 on August 11, 2026.[1]
