Mike Steger was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1999.[2] Ballotpedia reports that he has been affiliated with the LaRouchePAC National Policy Committee and joined Lyndon LaRouche's 2004 presidential campaign.[2]
