Biography
Leigh Wambsganss is the Republican candidate for Texas State Senate District 9 in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which she faces incumbent Taylor Rehmet (D).[1][2] She advanced from the March 3, 2026 Republican primary, and she lost the January 31, 2026 special general runoff for the same seat to Rehmet, 57.3% to 42.7%.[1]
