Biography

Kevin Moxley is an independent candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives, District 24A, in the November 3, 2026 general election, where he faces Republican incumbent Clint Hostetler.[1][2] In a Ballotpedia survey, he described himself as a disabled Navy veteran who has worked in industrial maintenance for the past eight years.[3]

Kevin Moxley was born in Keokuk, Iowa, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1996 to 2001.[2] He earned a high school diploma from Hinton High School and an associate degree from Redlands Community College in 2003, and his career experience includes working in manufacturing.[2] In his survey responses, Moxley said he served as an aircrewman for five years.[3] Ballotpedia says that as of 2025 he was affiliated with the Twin Falls County Democrats and the Idaho Democratic Party.[2]

Moxley named the environment, education and health care as his policy priorities in the survey.[3] He said he opposes school vouchers and taxpayer funding for private or homeschool education, and that the government should implement the Medicaid expansion approved by Idaho voters without added requirements that undermine it.[3]
