Biography
Kerry Forestal is the Democratic candidate for Indiana State Senate District 31 in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1][2] He has been Marion County Sheriff since 2019, and his term ends December 31, 2026.[1]
Kerry Forestal won the Marion County Sheriff's race in November 2018, defeating Republican Brian Durham, and was re-elected in November 2022 over Randall Swindle.[1] In the May 5, 2026 Democratic primary for Senate District 31 he defeated Catherine Torzewski, Lasima Packett and Andrew Dezelan.[1]
