Kathy Burkett is the Republican candidate for Minnesota House of Representatives District 42A in the November 3, 2026 general election, challenging Democratic incumbent Ned Carroll; the Republican primary was canceled.[1] She was also the Republican candidate in the district in 2022 and 2024.[1]
Kathy Burkett was the Republican candidate for Minnesota House District 42A in 2022, when Ned Carroll won the general election 58.3 percent to 41.7 percent.[1] She ran against Carroll again in 2024, when he won 57.3 percent to 42.6 percent.[1]
