Biography
Justin Geiser is the Democratic candidate for Missouri House of Representatives District 31 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against incumbent Republican Ron Fowler.[1] A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he advanced from the August 4, 2026 Democratic primary.[1]
Justin Geiser was born in Missouri and grew up in Garden City, according to his Ballotpedia survey responses.[2] He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2006 to 2010, then studied at MiraCosta College and San Diego State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2018.[1][2] He later moved back to Missouri, bought a home in Blue Springs and worked for the federal government, including at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, a job he said he lost in August 2025 because of federal workforce cuts.[2]
In the survey, Geiser said his key priorities include increasing funding for public schools, raising teacher pay and moving away from standardized testing.[2]
