Biography
Judith Thackaberry is the Democratic candidate for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Sullivan 5, in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1][2] A physical therapist, she says she has lived in the Lake Sunapee region since 1984.[2][3]
Judith Thackaberry earned a high school diploma from North Hunterdon Regional High School, a bachelor's degree from Springfield College in 1980, and a graduate degree from Notre Dame College in 2001.[2] In a Ballotpedia survey, she described herself as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a board-certified geriatrics specialist who raised three children in the Lake Sunapee region and volunteers in support of the arts, schools, the environment and neighbors' health.[3]
Thackaberry listed her key messages as support for public schools with oversight and accountability for the education freedom account voucher program, affordable and secure housing, and affordable and accessible health care.[3] She said she is most passionate about women's reproductive health care and preventive health programs for seniors.[3]
