Biography
Jonathan Stone is the Republican candidate for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Sullivan 8, in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1][2] Stone previously represented Sullivan 8 from December 2022 to December 2024 and works in law enforcement.[2]
Jonathan Stone, also known as Jon, was born in Claremont, New Hampshire.[2] His career experience includes working for the Sullivan County Department of Corrections, the State of New Hampshire judicial branch, the Claremont police department and the Vermont Department of Corrections.[2] Stone has volunteered with the Vermont State Employees Association and AFSCME Local 3657.[2]
Stone assumed office in the New Hampshire House of Representatives on December 7, 2022, and left office on December 4, 2024.[2] In the 2023-2024 session he was assigned to the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.[2]
