Biography

Jessie Shepherd is the Democratic candidate for Missouri House of Representatives District 114 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Republican Ann Moloney.[1][2] Shepherd, who works in advocacy, was also the Democratic nominee for the seat in 2022 and 2024, losing both times to Ken Waller.[1]

Shepherd advanced from the Democratic primary for District 114 on August 2, 2022, and lost the general election to Ken Waller on November 8, 2022.[1] She was the Democratic candidate again in 2024, when Waller, the incumbent, defeated her in the general election.[1] In her 2022 survey, Shepherd listed her campaign messages as pro-choice, pro-union and pro-education, and said she cares about funding for disability services and improving working conditions for Missouri's public school teachers.[3]
