In his Ballotpedia Candidate Connection biography, Walter describes himself as a retired U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9) with more than three decades of experience across leadership, public service and technology consulting.[2] He says he worked as a senior manager at Accenture, where he led over $36 million in IT programs including 13 generative-AI proof-of-concepts and cloud and data migrations, especially in healthcare and telecommunications.[2]
