Biography

Jeff Wadlin is the Libertarian Party nominee for U.S. Senate in Arkansas. According to his campaign website, he is an engineer and businessman from Bentonville with an MBA who has worked at Caterpillar, Capital One and Sam's Club and now runs a consulting business. He says he is running because he is worried about where the country is headed and wants government to leave people alone unless they are harming someone else.[1][2]

Jeff Wadlin says on his campaign website that he was born in Richmond, Virginia, and moved around Illinois, Arizona and North Carolina before settling in Bentonville, Arkansas, where he is raising three sons.[2] He says he studied aerospace and mechanical engineering at the University of Virginia and earned an MBA from Northwestern.[2] His career, as he describes it, includes working for Caterpillar, co-founding an Illinois online salvage yard for auto parts, working at Capital One's headquarters in Virginia, launching a product development company, running membership nationwide at Sam's Club in Bentonville, and founding his own consulting business.[2]

Wadlin says he previously ran for Justice of the Peace and City Council and sought the Libertarian nomination for U.S. House in 2018 without winning.[2] He advanced from the Libertarian Party of Arkansas convention for U.S. Senate on February 22, 2026.[1]
