Jayson Ameer Rasheed earned a bachelor's degree from Wilmington College in 2000, according to Ballotpedia.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he described himself as an educator and a product of public schools with over 20 years in education and athletics.[2] He said he moved back to Ohio to take care of his mother.[2]
Rasheed said he would work for fair school funding, expand career and technical pathways, and support educators.[2] He also said he supports workers' rights to organize and bargain collectively, livable wages, affordable housing, childcare access and lower healthcare burdens.[2]
