Biography
Jamar Money is the Republican candidate for Delaware House of Representatives District 9 in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Democrat Ayanna Khan-Flowers in a race with no incumbent.[1][2] A college instructor and educator, he was unopposed in the Republican primary, which was canceled.[2][3]
Jamar Money graduated from William Penn High School and earned an associate degree from Delaware Technical Community College, a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and a graduate degree from Wilmington University.[2] In a Ballotpedia survey, Money described himself as a lifelong Delawarean, husband, father and educator who has worked as a public school educator and a college educator.[3] He said he is pursuing doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at Delaware State University.[3]
Money said his campaign priorities are high-quality education, cost of living and affordability, and a more balanced General Assembly rather than a single-party supermajority.[3]
