Biography
Jacey Buckles is the Republican candidate for the Missouri House of Representatives, District 136, in the November 3, 2026 general election, after advancing from the August 4 Republican primary.[2][1] A local business owner, he said in a Ballotpedia survey that his priorities are cost of living, public safety and what he called generational investment.[2][3]
Jacey Buckles earned a bachelor's degree from Southwest Baptist University in 2017.[2] In a 2026 Ballotpedia survey, Buckles said he graduated with a B.S. in Economics/Finance and a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy and has owned and operated a local business since then.[3] He said the business has grown from one location to three and supports more than 20 local families, and that he serves as its CFO.[3] Buckles said he and his wife have two young children and that he has been a member of High Street Church for many years and previously served as a deacon.[3]
On cost of living, Buckles said he would focus on reforming taxation, reducing healthcare costs and keeping utility costs low.[3] On public safety, he described himself as "tough on crime" and said policy should also address the root causes of drug addiction and homelessness.[3] Under generational investment, he cited broader education options, infrastructure maintenance and development, and making Springfield attractive to businesses.[3]
